THE STUDIO / SELECTED WORK

From an idea to something tangible.

A small collection of real, self-directed projects. The process, the actual result, and a useful look at what making can involve.

These are personal builds, shared as examples of the work. They are not customer endorsements or products offered for sale.

White three-lobed printed fidget spinner with four bearings on a workbench.
The assembled spinner. No measured spin-time or bearing-fit claim is made.
3D PRINTING

Fidget Spinner / Simplicity Wins

A self-directed build that moved from a three-lobed model to a printed body with four installed bearings. The finished object is documented in a workbench photograph; spin performance was not measured.

Self-directed build · assembled & photographed
THE PROCESS
  1. Develop the joined, three-lobed shape
  2. Print the body and assemble the bearings
  3. Document the object and preserve the remaining test questions

Photograph supplied by Robert Hutchins; web preview from the documented build photograph.

Black decorative hazard-style vinyl decals applied to a pale green reusable cup.
Applied decorative vinyl. These designs are not certified safety labels; washing durability was not tested.
CUSTOM MERCHANDISE

Hazard Cup / Black Vinyl, Broken Borders

A personal artwork-to-object project: four bold decorative symbols became vector cut paths, then black vinyl applied to a reusable cup. The finished photographs show the main decal set in place.

Self-directed build · cut, applied & photographed
THE PROCESS
  1. Develop a consistent family of interrupted-border symbols
  2. Prepare closed vector cut paths
  3. Cut and apply the main set, then photograph the result

Photograph supplied by Robert Hutchins. Artwork developed by Robert Hutchins with ChatGPT/Codex; no cup-brand affiliation is implied.
