HAZARD CUP / BLACK VINYL, BROKEN BORDERS
U225X public project EXP-CUP-STICKERS-001 / Revision A / September 15, 2026
https://u225x.com/record/EXP-CUP-STICKERS-001

This project began with yellow lightning-warning and gas-pump signs. Robert selected the Industrial concept: bold black symbols with deliberate breaks in their borders. Corrosive and dead-tree-and-fish designs extended the set. Three supplied photographs show all four main decals applied around a pale green Owala cup.

The main artwork became true SVG cut paths. The cup color shows through every open space. Snake-and-staff and a rectangular CAUTION label were made as additional designs; their application is not shown in the finished-cup photos.

FILES
- four-industrial-stickers.svg: four separate black cut layers, each 2.5 inches wide.
- lightning.svg, gas.svg, corrosive.svg, environment.svg: one main design per file, each 2.5 inches wide.
- snake-and-staff.svg: one black compound layer, 5 inches tall.
- caution.svg: outlined lettering, rectangular border and warning triangle, 4 inches wide.

Upload an SVG to Cricut Design Space as a Basic Cut. Keep proportions locked when resizing. The combined file can be ungrouped to select each sticker independently. Black is the vinyl; background and interior openings are transparent. If a browser displays the SVG, download the ZIP and extract the actual SVG file before uploading.

The default file dimensions are not a measurement of the finished decals. Vinyl brand, cut settings, actual applied sizes, and long-term washing performance were not recorded. These stylized symbols are decorative artwork, not certified safety labels.

PHOTO PROVENANCE
Photographs supplied by Robert Hutchins: gas-pump view, environmental-hazard view, and corrosive/lightning view. Each was rotated upright, cropped to focus on the cup and reduce household background, resized for web use, and stripped of metadata. No cup or decal retouching was performed. The raised handles were already partly outside the source photographs.

DESIGN PROVENANCE
Design development by Robert Hutchins with ChatGPT/Codex: generated concepts followed by vector cleanup and outlined lettering. The additional snake-and-staff motif was traced from this supplied shared cup mockup:
